We are pleased to announce another fantastic recruitment event! Working in partnership with Herts Resourcing Group (HRG) and Hertford Regional College (HRC), we are hosting a recruitment day – ideal for anyone looking for a career at the college.

22 March – Turnford – 12pm-6pm

@ Broxbourne Campus, Hertford Regional College

Turnford, Broxbourne, Herts, EN10 6AE

From lecturing, assessing through to non-academic roles – the college is looking to recruit across lots of subject areas. We are particularly interested in anyone who is looking to get into teaching with industry backgrounds in Carpentry, Computing, Electrical, Engineering, Motor Sport, Motor Vehicle, Painting and Decorating, and Science. Plus we are always looking for excellent English and Maths teachers. For our non-academic roles, we are looking for Support Workers, be it in-class or one-to-one Support Workers.

Many people with established careers retrain as teachers every year, making the switch easier than you might think. Teaching will give you the chance to use your life and work experience, together with your passion for your subject to inspire young people and help them into employment.

HRC is a thriving confident community, which aims to provide learners and the wider public with an excellent standard of training and education. Education is all about people, and we aim to provide a supportive environment for all our staff in which they can develop their skills and achieve outstanding results.

Our goal at HRC is to prepare our learners for their future career, whether that is straight from the College or after progressing to university. We believe that their learning experience at HRC is critical in order to set them ahead of the competition, to get that dream job or a place at their first-choice university. So why not come along to our recruitment event and be a part of our vibrant and friendly place to work.

This is a great opportunity to see what the college is like, get advice from one of our specialist FE Recruitment Consultants, see the facilities and meet the college management team.

“I was training new starters at work and thought that I would really like to do this full time. I joined HRC as an hourly paid Accountancy Lecturer and enrolled on a teacher training programme to develop my skills. I gradually increased my hours and then a year ago decided to apply for a full time position teaching maths. I have really enjoyed my new role and will qualify as a teacher this summer” – Emma Wooley, HRC Lecturer
