The National College for High Speed Rail is due to open its doors on campuses in Birmingham and Doncaster in September 2017. Situated at Doncaster’s Lakeside and within Birmingham’s Learning Quarter, the brand new incorporated college will be dedicated to the training of future High Speed Rail workers with a focus on Higher Apprenticeships for students 18 years plus.

“From Civil Engineering, Operations, Control through to Management, the college will be offering a huge variety of courses covering a whole spectrum of specialisms. The college plans to deliver level 4 and level 5 Higher Apprenticeships and HNC equivalents that will fulfil the skilled work force for the HS2 which will connect Leeds to London amongst some key midlands cities.
