Senior Recruitment Consultant (Higher Education)

circa. £25k per annum dependent on experience (negotiable) + uncapped commission + benefits
As the specialist recruitment agency in education, skills and training, Protocol is currently investing in specific services to HE, through a new HE division in order to create a valuable and compelling service to universities and other higher education providers. Protocol will be leveraging its 25-year history and specifically its expertise in the higher and degree apprenticeship space to both grow and diversify its client base. The team will fulfil opportunities across sessional, permanent, interim and executive search.
As a result, we are seeking a team of focused, ambitious and commercially focused professionals to be based at our offices in either Nottingham or London.
The role & the person
We are looking for consultants with a strong track record of client acquisition and account management. While experience in university recruitment would be an advantage, we are also open to applications from successful consultants looking for a move into an exciting company operating in a growing market. The ability to build strong relationships with clients, and the ability to source and attract candidates to meet their requirements is essential. The ability to pro-actively develop business and work as part of a new team are also vital; as is the ability to mentor and develop junior team members.
