Motor Vehicle Technician 

Permanent Role

South Yorkshire-based College

£22,900 per annum (£11,450 Pro-rata)

Part time Hours (18.5 hours per week)

Job Purpose             

You will have the opportunity to work in our Motor Vehicle workshops and you will use your knowledge, experience and ideas to continuously improve our current processes and procedures with the potential to develop these further to create the best training facilities in South Yorkshire.

You will also be responsible for providing technical assistance and advice by taking an active role in supporting academic staff and students in all workshop activities.

Candidate must have previous experience working within the Motor Vehicle industry and ideally of working with young people.

You’ll have:

• Hold a Relevant qualification
• L2 Maths and English (or equivalent)
• Ideally, previous experience in the MV industry and a MV/Craft Certificate (NVQ Level 1)
