Supported Internship Job Coach

Protocol are working closely with a Further Education College based in Mansfield, Nottingham in their search for an experienced Supported Internship Job Coach to secure work outcomes and raise aspirations for young people within the college.

Your new role:

The college require an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within the new Supported Internship Programme, supporting learners with learning difficulties and disabilities into work. You will be required to support the individual needs of Interns; working closely with college teams, parents and employers. You will be responsible for supporting the delivery and the operation of the college’s Supported Internship Programme, as well supporting the overall welfare and education of the Interns whilst they are out on placement.

You will play an integral role in the building and maintaining of relationships with employers and their teams. 

Hours; 4x roles available – 2 full time and 2 Part time 
Contract; 2x Permanent and 2x Temporary on-going basis. 
Rate: £15 per hour for Temp and £24,000 per annum for Permanent 

Skills / Experience:

You will have a passion for supporting young people during education & into work life. Ideally you will have previous experience in a work coach / employment advisor environment.
