Are you an Education Sign Language Specialist (ESLS) with a Level 3 – 6 BSL qualification?

Protocol are working in partnership with a Further Education College in North East London who require a ESLS to support 17 deaf learners joining in September 2024 for 36 weeks.

Have you got previous experience as a Communication Support worker?

Are you British Sign Language (BSL) qualified up to Level 3?

 

Working hours per week: 30 hours per week

Start from 2/9/2024 until June 2025

Pay: £35 per hour + HP

 

Essential requirements:

  • Level 3 BSL QUAL/CSW BTEC QUAL desirable, Levels 4-6 BSL would be welcomed.
  • Level 2 BSL Qual with FE College experience considered, however the candidate will require a high BSL vocabulary to meet the ability to sign for various different lessons.
  • Experience of working within an educational setting with Deaf students- essential
