Protocol is working closely with a Further Education College based in the West Midlands area in their search for an experienced Chef Manager. 

The role;

The role is offering full-time hours Monday to Friday temporarily. This is ongoing and reviewed at the October half term. 

Main duties include: 

  • Overseeing the kitchen staff.
  • Managing inventory and food costs.
  • Creating menus
  • Ensuring the kitchen is clean and safe
  • Hiring and training staff
  • Oversight of food preparation
  • Management of line staff and dishwashers Inventory and purchasing.

 

Have you got what it takes?

  • Experience working in an educational setting or similar industry environment. 
  • Experience working in a management role. 
  • Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
