£11.44 to £14.00 per hour depending on position.

Protocol is working closely with a Further Education College based in the South Yorkshire area in their search for 1x Digital and Library Assistant and 1x Digital and Library Lead. Both roles are working full-time hours working Monday to Friday on a temporary 6-month contract. 

Duties for the Digital and Library Assistant include:

  • Supporting the front desk.
  • Signing out resources.
  • Assisting the resetting passwords.
  • Supporting learners with digital skills such as google. 
  • Ensuring the space is tidy and dealing with learners who misbehave.
  • Helping learners to print.

Duties for the Digital and Library Lead:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day of the learning hub.
  • Deliver on induction and information sessions to groups of learners.
  • Support staff and learners with digital skills.
  • May work 1 evening per week, flexible TOIL.
  • Support with the new VR suite.

Have you got what it takes?

  • Experience working within a Digital and Library Assistant/Lead role or a similar environment. 
  • Experience within duties as above. 
  • Dedicated to upholding a professional manner.
  • Hold a DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for a new one).
