Job Title: Plumbing and Gas Assessor/Trainer

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: Negotiable

Job Duties:

  • Organising and providing training and support for students.
  • Conducting assessments.
  • Conducting reviews and completing records.
  • End Point Assessment preparation and training.
  • Administrative responsibilities.
  • Health and Safety responsibilities.
  • Maintaining and updating your knowledge and skills (CPD).
  • Regularly communicating with employers to build and maintain good relationships.
  • Business development.
  • Undertaking such other duties as may be required commensurate with the grade.

Required Qualifications:

  • IOSH managing safely or ENTO H&S Units D & G.
  • Assessor and verifier qualifications
  • Proven experience in the plumbing industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or equivalent
  • Higher education qualification in a relevant field is desirable

Experience:

  • Assessing experience in further education or vocational training settings
  • Demonstrated expertise in plumbing practices and techniques

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Up-to-date knowledge of plumbing regulations and standards
  • Strong IT skills for lesson planning and delivery
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
