Job Title: Advanced Level ITQ Assessor/Trainer

Seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Apprenticeship Assessor to join a FE College team. In this role, you will work closely with ICT and Multi-Channel Marketing apprentices and employers, guiding and assessing their progress to ensure they achieve their full potential and the best possible End Point Assessment grade in a timely manner.

East of England, Cambridgeshire-based College

Job Type:

Permanent, expected to work full-time hours

(The role does allow for some working from home)

£23,631 – £30,481 per annum

Job Duties:

  • Conduct assessments of learners in the IT field at an advanced level
  • Deliver training sessions to individuals or groups based on their learning needs
  • Develop and implement training programmes to enhance IT skills and knowledge
  • Evaluate and provide feedback on learners’ progress and performance
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, training sessions, and learner progress
  • Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in IT to ensure training content remains relevant

Required Qualifications:

  • Level 3 relevant vocational qualification and relevant vocational CPD

  • Level 3 TAQA or Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Qualifications (or equivalent, A1, etc)

  • Level 3 Internal Quality Assurance Qualification

Experience:

  • Experience of working within current vocational qualification systems.

  • Experience working with e-portfolios.

  • Experience in dealing with employers in a professional capacity

  • Experience in training and assessing within a Further Education or training environment

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Health and Safety legislation knowledge applicable to the occupational area.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Good record-keeping skills and attention to detail.

  • Efficient time management.

  • Ability to influence others.

  • Able to work flexibly and on your own initiative.

  • Good team player.

  • IT Skills
