Protocol is collaborating with a Community College in Cambridge to find a dedicated DIY/Joinery Tutor. This role involves teaching beginners the essential skills of carpentry and joinery over a 10-week course.

The role.
This role is offering hours on a Wednesday Evening (6:45pm-8:45pm) on a 10-week course.

  • You will deliver engaging and informative lessons on DIY carpentry and joinery.
  •  Provide hands-on guidance and support to learners.
  •  Ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
  • The course is centred around working with timber. You will be teaching the following joints: Half Lap, Mortice and Tenon, Dove Tail, T Halving, Bridal and Dowel Joint.

The person.

  • Experience in carpentry/joinery.
  • Teaching experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
