Location: Romford, London
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Lecturer in Maths (LEC-Maths) to join our team at an FE College in London. This role is essential for covering long-term sickness and requires an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Maths, including GCSE Maths.
- Utilize digital tools to enhance the learning experience.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Perform administrative duties related to teaching.
Essential Skills and Abilities:
- Qualified teacher with one of the following: PGCE, QTS, or Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching Maths.
- Ability to teach GCSE Maths.
- Teaching qualification such as Cert Ed or PGCE.
- Strong digital skills and a passion for teaching.
- Ability to engage learners and provide examples of successful teaching strategies.
- Availability throughout the week.
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience working in a Further Education (FE) College setting.
- Experience working in an educational establishment.
Additional Information:
- Working Hours: Up to 25 hours per week (23 teaching, 2 admin).
- Start Date: As soon as possible.
