Job Duties:

• Deliver high-quality teaching in the field of Sports Studies
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons and assessments
• Provide constructive feedback to students to support their learning
• Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement of course materials
• Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate relevant content into teaching
• Support and mentor students, guiding them as needed
• Participate in departmental meetings and activities

Required Qualifications:

• Educated to BSc Level or equivalent in a Sports Science Subject
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE or equivalent)
• Strong knowledge of sports science principles and theories
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Knowledge and Skills:

• Deep understanding of sports science concepts
• Effective lesson planning and delivery skills
• Ability to engage and motivate students
• Strong organisational and time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• An appropriate professional qualification or equivalent
• Assessor Qualification
• IQA Qualification
• An MSc/MA or PhD in a relevant subject area
