Apply nowAre you an experienced Lecturer Assessor in Carpentry who is open to a role in a further education college?
You could be working 37 hours a week Monday – Friday in a FE College in South East London.
As a Carpentry Apprenticeship Skills Coach, you will assist with the effective planning and organisation of the Carpentry Apprenticeship provision.
You’ll assist the Curriculum Manager with the curriculum development and the expansion and development of the department as well as the promotion of and other courses in the Apprentices provision and participate in marketing events as required.
You have proven experience in teaching and/or skills coach assessments with a minimum of Level 2 literacy and numeracy and are a qualified FE teacher or assessor or be willing to work towards this.
You can articulate clearly and can be understood in teaching and making presentations to class groups and have efficient administration skills to support good student record keeping.
This is a temporary ongoing position to start ASAP.
The person & qualifications
- Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one.
- You will possess a L3 in Carpentry
- Ideally holds a Teaching and Assessors qualificaiton
- Experience within FE
- Industry experience
- Can prioritise a busy workload effectively.
