Job Title: Engineering Assessor/IQA

Location:

East of England, Cambridgeshire-based College (Multi-campus)

Job Type:

Permanent, 22 hours per week

Salary:

£18,824 – £19,877 Per annum (Pro Rata of £31,659 – £33,430)

Job Duties:

  • Conduct assessments of engineering qualifications
  • Ensure compliance with assessment standards and regulations
  • Provide constructive feedback to learners
  • Conduct internal quality assurance activities
  • Maintain accurate assessment records

Required Qualifications:

  • Assessor qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA)
  • Internal Quality Assurance qualification (e.g., IQA, V1)

Education:

Relevant engineering qualification

Experience:

  • Experience in assessing engineering qualifications

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of assessment and quality assurance processes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd)
