Position: Motor Vehicle Technician
Location: Romford, London
Type: Full-time

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to join our team at an FE College based in Romford. The ideal candidate will possess the following essential skills and abilities:

Qualifications:

• Level 2 – 3 Motor Vehicle qualification (Candidates with Level 2 will be encouraged to enrol and pass Level 3 to support Level 3 students)

Experience:

• Industry experience in a workshop or dealership
• Experience in an FE College or similar educational setting

Skills and Abilities:

• Demonstrate safe use of equipment, adhering to safe working practices in the workshop
• Knowledge of workshop tools and their safe usage
• Ability to prepare materials and apparatus for demonstrations and practical work
• Good IT and administrative skills
• Excellent interpersonal and team development skills
• Ability to develop and contribute towards team goals

Responsibilities:

• Support and guide students in their practical and theoretical learning
• Ensure a safe and productive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience
