Temporary ongoing (Sick cover)
Part-Time: Mon, Weds, Thurs, Fri (28hrs pw)
Salary:
£36 – £44 Per hour
Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and informative lectures on brickwork techniques and principles up to Level 2
- Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and accuracy
- Provide constructive feedback to students on their practical work and assignments
- Assess student performance and progress through examinations and coursework
- Support students in their learning journey and guide career paths in the construction industry
Required Qualifications:
A relevant qualification in Bricklaying or Construction
Education:
- Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Bricklaying or related field
Experience:
- Experience working in the construction industry
Knowledge and Skills:
- Strong understanding of brickwork techniques and practises
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
- Proficient in assessment and feedback methods
Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent)
