Job Title: Brickwork Lecturer

Location:

East Midlands, Lincolnshire-based College

Job Type:

Temporary ongoing (Sick cover)

Part-Time: Mon, Weds, Thurs, Fri (28hrs pw)

Salary:

£36 – £44 Per hour

Job Duties:

• Deliver engaging and informative lectures on brickwork techniques and principles up to Level 2
• Develop and update curriculum materials to ensure relevance and accuracy
• Provide constructive feedback to students on their practical work and assignments
• Assess student performance and progress through examinations and coursework
• Support students in their learning journey and guide career paths in the construction industry

Required Qualifications:

A relevant qualification in Bricklaying or Construction

Education:

• Minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Bricklaying or related field

Experience:

• Experience working in the construction industry

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of brickwork techniques and practises
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to motivate and engage students in the learning process
• Proficient in assessment and feedback methods

Preferred Qualifications:

Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE or equivalent)
