AAT Lecturer – Part-time (21 hours per week)
Location: Staffordshire-based College
Salary: £21.63 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in line with national standards.
  • Develop and utilize learning materials to support student achievement and success.
  • Monitor and support individual student progress, providing necessary interventions.
  • Participate in course team meetings, assessment meetings, and moderation sessions.
  • Contribute to the continuous development of the curriculum.
  • Engage in course marketing, recruitment, and retention activities.
  • Embed essential English, Maths, and employability skills into curriculum delivery.
  • Coordinate exam bookings in compliance with AAT regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to college policies and procedures.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in a relevant subject area or equivalent
  • Certificate in Education
  • Minimum Level 2 in literacy and numeracy
  • Proven teaching experience in Further Education (FE) or Higher Education (HE)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)

Desirable:

  • Industry knowledge and experience
  • Experience with Moodle or other Virtual Learning Environments (VLE)
