Job Title: Business Lecturer

Location: Kings Cross, London

Days per Week: 5

Hours per Week: 35

Course/Level to Teach:

  • Level 1 Introductory Certificate to Business (BTEC)
  • Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Business (NCFE)

Duration: Sickness cover

Charge Rate: £25 per hour

Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis to cover sickness leave. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons to students enrolled in the Level 1 Introductory Certificate to Business (BTEC) and Level 2 Diploma in Skills for Business (NCFE) courses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
  • Provide pastoral care and support to students.
  • Mark assignments and provide constructive developmental feedback via MS Teams.
  • Complete all associated administrative tasks, including compliance with Pro-Monitor.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject area and pedagogy.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified to teach Business at the specified levels.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with online teaching platforms, particularly MS Teams.
  • Ability to manage and support students effectively.
  • Organized and able to complete administrative tasks efficiently.
