Apply nowYou could be in a full time permanent position teaching Music Performance and Production in a further education College in West London that gives you ongoing training and development to help you progress in your career, and the opportunity to achieve a PGCE through the college in your first two years.
You’re an enthusiastic and professional individual wanting to join a well established team to teach learners aged 16 – 19 a subject you are passionate about.
You’ll teach across a range of UAL courses in Music and Performing Arts, from Level 1 to Level 4.
All projects that our students work on are industry-mirrored, and specialist units include the exploration of music theory, use of DAW for recording, editing, mixing and mastering music, independent music-making and self-promotion within the industry.
You would prepare learners for employment and progression via a work experience programme, and create opportunities for learners to engage in enrichment activities.
You will already have a degree in Music and will have some teaching experience in the subject area, and can teach theory, practical and industry-related units.
You have keyboard, guitar, drum, vocal and music theory skills, and experience of music production, including Logic Pro X.
If you do not currently possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, we will fund and support you to obtain this over the two year period of the course.
Salary £32,455 to £45,260 per annum
