You could be in a full time permanent position teaching Chef for Professional Cookery in a further education College in West London that gives you ongoing training and development to help you progress in your career, and the opportunity to achieve a PGCE through the college in your first two years.
 
You’re an enthusiastic and professional individual wanting to join a well established team to teach learners aged 16 – 19 a subject you are passionate about.

You would teach across a variety of Hospitality programmes including VRQs/NVQs in Professional Cookery from Level 1 to Level 3, and Apprenticeship Standards – Level 2 Production Chef, Level 2 Commis Chef and Level 3 Chef De Partie. The section has a restaurant that is open to the general public.

You will be qualified to Level 3 in Catering/Cookery, with experience of teaching and in the subject area and experience of being a Chef in the Catering/Hospitality industry.

You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire young learners aged 16-18.

If you do not currently possess a Level 5 teaching qualification recognised by the FE sector, we will fund and support you to obtain this over the two year period of the course.  

Salary £32,455 to £45,260 per annum
