About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in Construction (Multiskills) to join a College based in Cambridgeshire. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning across a range of construction trades, contributing to course design and development. This role involves teaching, assessment, and tutorial responsibilities, with a focus on inspiring learners of all ages and abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Brickwork and Construction Multiskills
- Track and review student progress, providing feedback to students.
- Maintain professional development and industry links.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum Level 3 vocational qualification in Construction (Bricklaying qualifications desirable).
- Certificate in Education/PGCE/DTLLS/DET.
- Substantial, recent industrial experience in Construction Maintenance.
- Recent lecturing, instructing, or training experience.
Skills and Attributes:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire learners.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
- Flexible and responsive to change.
