We are seeking to appoint an exceptional and inspiring Lecturer of Construction who is passionate about learning and teaching Electrical Installations.

Full time hours, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities:

  • Teach a range of students to develop their Electrical Installations skills and qualifications.
  • Liaise closely with curriculum teams to ensure effective and timely student progress.
  • Counsel students and maintain positive behaviours.
  • Participate in curriculum development to meet changing demands and college planning.

The role.
You will be working within the college, supporting, teaching, training and assessing students in Electrical Installations. You will be responsible for assessing and marking student work and carrying out student tutorials and assessments to ensure each student is achieving their best during their time in the college.

The person;
We are therefore seeking individuals who are passionate about Electrical Installations and that have relevant experience in both educational and industry fields. The individual will also have experience working with students or apprentices either in a college or an educational setting whilst being upbeat, motivational and knowledgeable in the subject area to educate and inspire learners.

Have you got what it takes?

For Lecturer role: it is essential that the candidate is a qualified teacher (we require either PGCE, QTS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training qualification)

    • Experience and ability to Teach Electrical Installations Level 1 – Level 3
    • Able to demonstrate strong technical skills
    • Minimum of 2 to 3 years teaching in Electrical Installations
    • Ability to motivate and keep learners interested in Electrical Installations
