Job Title: Carpentry Lecturer

Location: East of England, Cambridgeshire-based College

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £27,425 – £40,369 per annum

Job Description:

Job Duties:

• Deliver lectures on carpentry techniques and practises
• Develop and implement lesson plans and curriculum
• Provide guidance and support to students in their learning process
• Demonstrate various carpentry skills and techniques
• Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Maintain a safe and productive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• Relevant level 3 qualification in Carpentry or a related field
• Teaching or training qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed)(Desirable)
• Assessors or Verifiers award (Desirable)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively with students of varying abilities

Knowledge and Skills:

• Comprehensive understanding of carpentry principles and techniques
• Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to students
• Strong organisational and time management skills
