Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Salary: Up to £37,199 per annum (including market force supplement)
About the Role.
Are you an experienced Plumbing professional looking for a change in career? Or perhaps you’re an experienced tutor or assessor ready for a new challenge? If so, this is your chance to step away from the tools and into the classroom, where you can share your expertise and help shape the next generation of skilled plumbers.
As a Lecturer in Plumbing, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment in plumbing and gas at Level 3. This will include teaching on study programmes, adult programmes, and apprenticeships, covering both classroom-based learning and practical workshops. You will inspire and engage students with your passion for the industry, delivering a curriculum that helps develop our Centre of Excellence in plumbing.
What We’re Looking For.
- Experience in plumbing and gas, with a strong industry background
- Teaching experience (preferable but not essential)
- A passion for sharing knowledge and shaping the future of the plumbing industry
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
- Enthusiastic, engaging, and approachable teaching style
- Ability to deliver up to Level 3 qualifications and apprenticeships in both practical and theory settings
