Hours per Week: 23 hours of teaching

Course Levels: Levels 2 and 3 Forensic Science

Additional Responsibilities: Some pastoral support sessions for 16-18 and adult groups

Job Description: Protocol are working with a Further Education College based in Angel, who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Forensic Science Lecturer to join their team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching to students at Levels 2 and 3 in Forensic Science. In addition to teaching, the role includes providing pastoral support to both 16-18-year-old students and adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Forensic Science at Levels 2 and 3.
• Provide pastoral support to students, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials in line with curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support as needed.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications in Forensic Science or a related field.
• Previous teaching experience, preferably at the further education level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and backgrounds.
• Commitment to providing high-quality education and support.
