Job Title: Skills Coach – Brickwork
Location: Hull
Salary: £30,411 per annum OR £30 – £35 per hour + Holiday pay
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

We are looking for a Skills Coach in Brickwork to help shape the next generation of professionals in the construction industry. In this role, you will mentor, coach, and assess apprentices as they progress through their programmes. Your work will involve a combination of on-site and remote delivery, with a focus on helping apprentices develop essential brickwork skills and knowledge for a successful career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coach and mentor apprentices, ensuring they meet industry standards and are prepared for their End Point Assessment.
• Monitor progress using an e-portfolio system, providing guidance and feedback to help apprentices achieve their goals.
• Foster strong relationships with employers, ensuring apprentices receive high-quality training and support.
• Integrate maths and English into practical training to help apprentices develop these core skills.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality, industry-relevant programmes.

What We’re Looking For:

• Level 3 qualification in brickwork or a related field.
• Assessor qualification (or willingness to obtain one).
• Experience in the brickwork industry and a passion for teaching and mentoring.
• Strong IT and communication skills, with the ability to manage apprentices’ progress through an online system.
