Quantity Surveying Skills Trainer

Location: Nottinghamshire-based FE College

Salary: £34,445 – £40,560 (Permanent Salary)

Contract: Temp to Perm 

An FE College in Nottingham is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Quantity Surveying professional to join our dynamic team. This role is a Temp to Perm full-time position. As a key member of our teaching team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Level 3 and 4 higher apprentices in the field of Quantity Surveying.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver teaching in a range of subjects including Quantity Surveying & Site Supervision, Building Information Modelling (BIM), Science, Materials, and CAD.
  • Provide both practical and theoretical instruction to apprentices working towards their qualifications.
  • Assess and monitor apprentice progress throughout the program, ensuring their development and success.
  • Two days of teaching (Wednesdays & Thursdays), one day of prep, and the remainder of the week focused on assessment duties.

 

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Significant industry experience in Quantity Surveying, with expertise in site supervision.
  • Previous experience delivering HNC Quantity Surveying is essential.
  • A strong background in teaching and apprenticeship delivery is desirable.
  • Experience with the Pearson’s awarding body is highly desirable.
