Are you passionate about gaming and digital media? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of young people with learning disabilities? Protocol are working with an established college in Sheffield and are looking for a dynamic tutor to deliver engaging lessons in gaming, digital art, Esports, and coding to SEND learners.
About the Role:
- Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Salary: £34,216.18 – £42,198.63 (Depending on Experience)
- Help learners develop essential life skills like communication, teamwork, and problem-solving through hands-on, creative lessons.
- Deliver accredited qualifications and create exciting, real-world projects like game development challenges and Esports tournaments.
What You’ll Bring:
- A passion for gaming and digital media.
- Experience working with SEND learners (Autism, learning difficulties, etc.).
- A relevant degree or industry experience in gaming, digital media, or a related field.
- A commitment to making learning accessible and fun!
What We’re Looking For:
- A relevant degree in Game Design, Digital Media, Computer Science, or related subject (or significant industry experience).
- Teaching qualification (or a willingness to obtain one, such as PGCE or CertEd).
- Experience working with learners with SEND, Autism, learning difficulties, or communication challenges.
- A passion for making learning accessible and engaging through creative use of gaming and digital media.
- Strong communication and organisational skills, with a learner-centred approach to teaching
